AAU Participates in the Fifth International Festival of Jordanian Dates

Dr. Subhieh Suaifan, Dean of AAU's Faculty of Agricultural Technology, took center stage at the prestigious Fifth International Festival of Dates on November 13-14, 2023, at the InterContinental Hotel. The festival served as a hub for date industry leaders, bringing together producers, marketers, and researchers from Jordan and around the world. Specialized scientific sessions explored date production intricacies, complemented by an exhibition showcasing associated industries. The dynamic program included motivational competitions, adding excitement and engagement. Highlighting the festival were bilateral meetings fostering collaboration between local and international date producers and traders. Dr. Suaifan played a key role in facilitating agreements between AAU and leading agricultural technology firms, emphasizing a commitment to providing valuable field training for students under the "Green Has" initiative.
