AAU Participates in the Ceremony of launching the National Youth Dialogue Initiative
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Chairman of the Senate Faisal Al- Fayez, a number of AAU students participated in the ceremony of launching “the National Youth Dialogue Initiative” which was held in the Royal Cultural Center. This initiative aimed to involve young people in development, activate their role in society and deepen their sense of belonging to the issues of the homeland. During the launching ceremony, Al-Fayez said that “we should work together to meet the challenges facing young people who are the future of the country and to confirm the role of His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting the youth and empowering them in society”.He added that “confronting the problems of our youth and empowering them in society is a collective and participatory responsibility that rests with all institutions, parties, universities and others”. The Head of the Initiative Committee, Senator Rabha Al-Dabbas, stated that the initiative aimed to translate the wish of His Majesty King Abdullah II of giving the youth the utmost importance in national participation at all levels to enable them to lay down the rules of joint work and to build on it for a comprehensive national renaissance with the participation of all.During the launching ceremony, a film was displayed about the interest in young people of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein, the Crown Prince, and the importance of empowering and investing in them. A theater show was also presented about the objectives of the initiative committee in coordination with the National Center for Culture and Arts.
