AAU Organizes an Awareness Lecture Titled "National Integrity Standards and the Importance of Combating Corruption for Academics, Administrators, and Students”
In collaboration with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Deanship of Student Affairs at AAU organized an awareness lecture titled "National Integrity Standards and the Importance of Combating Corruption for Academics, Administrators, and Students." The lecture was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Qasem Kharma, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Nour Al-Dabbas, several members of the academic and administrative staff, and a large number of university students.
Mohammad Al-Ukour, Director of the Operations Unit at the Commission, emphasized the critical role of educational institutions in raising societal awareness, particularly among university students, who are uniquely positioned to promote messages of integrity and anti-corruption. He discussed strategies to combat corruption and mitigate its effects on society.
Al-Ukour highlighted that the approval of the National Integrity Standards by the Commission's Council aims to establish an ideal framework for public sector administration, ensuring the preservation of national resources, preventing the spread of corruption, and minimizing its impact on society and individuals.
