AAU Organizes An Awareness Campaign for the Local Community Women In Cooperation with the Civil Defense

The AAU Supreme Committee for Activities & Community Service and the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with Al-Balqa Directorate of the Civil Defense held an awareness campaign for the local community women titled “The Safe Use of Heating Devices at Homes”. This event took place on Saturday 17/11/2018 in the Nizar Qabani Theater. During this workshop, Captain Eman Dabbas of Al-Balqa Directorate of Civil Defense touched on all means of heating used at homes, their damages and how to use them safely. She also talked about the risks of the Carbon Monoxide emission resulting from improper use of heating devices. It is worth mentioning that more than 60 women from the local community participated in this campaign.
