AAU Organizes A Clothing Campaign for Orphan Children in Schools of Al-Balqa Governorate

On the occasion of commencing the new school year in the Kingdom's schools, the AAU Supreme Activities & Local Community Service Committee organized a clothing campaign for orphan children in schools of Al-Balqa governorate. This event which took place on Wednesday, 28/8/2019 was organized in cooperation with the Yarmouk Al-Baqa Club, the Islamic Center Society in Al-Balqa and the Hashim Qutaishat Society of Al-Salt.In this event, AAU hosted (140) orphan children from different areas of the governorate and provided them with their needs of clothing and school supplies such as bags, stationery, clothes and shoes. This campaign which is part of the University's plan to serve the local community, has received great interest and support from Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, the Chairman of AAU Board of Directors, and Prof. Sari Hamdan, the AAU President.
