AAU Organizes A Celebration for the Graduates of the Faculty of Nursing

Under the patronage of the AAU Vice President, Prof. Suleiman Al-Lawzi, the University celebrated the graduation of the Faculty of Nursing students for the first academic semester on Thursday, 8/3/2018 in the Nizar Qabani Theater. This ceremonial festival was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Amal Al-Daghestani, the Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council, Muhammad Saleh, Dr. Abed Al-Salam Al-Nusoor as representative of the Captain of Nurses (male & female) and Midwives and members of academic & administrative staffs as well as a large number of the graduates’ families and invitees.In her speech, Dr. Daghistani welcomed the patron of celebration and attendees and added that the AAU has become a distinguished scientific edifice which achieves the trust, respect and appreciation locally, regionally and internationally. She also mentioned that the Faculty seeks to upgrade and develop its programs. The Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council gave a brief introduction about the Council. The student Maher Saleh delivered the graduates’ speech where he praised the University, its administrators and the exerted efforts of its academic and administrative staffs and talked about the days of study and beautiful memories. Then, the graduates read the Nursing Oath with the representative of the Captain of Nurses (male & female) and Midwives. The celebration included diverse and wonderful singing sections performed by the University Choir along with a poetic section presented by the student Muhannad Abu Rumman. At the end of the celebration, the patron of the ceremony handed over the shields to the distinguished guests in addition to distributing certificates to the first students in all academic years and students participating in of co-curricular activities.
