AAU Obtains the Full International Accreditation from the “ASIC” International Agency
AAU obtained the Full International Accreditation from the “ASIC” International Agency which includes teaching & learning standards, quality & development, student welfare, human resources & management, marketing & recruitment and infrastructure & public safety. In his speech, the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan said that this achievement, which comes simultaneously with the celebration of the University's 30th anniversary, confirms the commitment of the University and its cadres to provide the best educational and research services. Prof. Hamdan added that this international accreditation confirms AAU’s commitment to achieve universality and apply all the standards that guarantee the advancement of the University level and its outputs. The AAU President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Board of Trustees and to the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, who provides the necessary support for achieving the University’s vision and for the continuity of development that the University seeks. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the AAU academic and administrative staffs.In his part, the AAU Director of International Accreditation & Classification, Dr. Anas Al-Saud said that the University applied for the accreditation of ASIC in the February of this year and worked hard to achieve all the necessary standards. He also said that the University underwent a series of assessments and verifications and was concluded with an assessment visit by the Verification Delegation of the ASIC Agency which ended last week. Al-Saud added that the ASIC accreditation which is issued by an independent and internationally accredited body, contributes to improving the University's classification in the various international classifications.
