AAU Launches a Joint Masters Degree Program with Herriot-Watt University
Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) has launched a joint masters degree program with Herriot-Watt University in a ceremony at the Holiday Inn. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Professor Sadeq Hamed, the president of the University, in the presence of Dr. Moyra Stoury, Dr. Ian Anderson, Ms. Mary Al-Sayegh, Miss Natalie Farah, and the program coordinator Miss Shifa Shadeed. At the beginning, Professor Hamed welcomed the audience and participants in the program, thanking them for their efforts to make the program succeed, emphasizing that AAU since its establishment has been keen on promoting excellence in accordance with its vision and mission to keep abreast of the most recent international developments so as to achieve high quality results and to provide the local and Arab markets with the unique competences in education. The Herriot-Watt University delegation, who met with students and other groups interested in the program, presented a brief summary about Herriot-Watt University and the special features of this program. At the end of the meeting, Professor Hamed, and Dr. Anderson answered questions from the audience
