AAU Inks Memorandum of Understanding with Palestine Technical University

AAU, represented by our President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Palestine Technical University, represented by its President, Prof. Hussein Shank, aimed at enhancing cooperation frameworks between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, Prof. Anas Al-Soud, and Dr. Ahmed Mansour, Director of the Sustainability Office. From Palestine Technical University, Dr. Jaafar Abu Sa’a, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences, was present. During the meeting, Prof. Hamdan expressed that this memorandum aligns with the university’s goals and aspirations to exchange academic and scientific expertise and foster joint cooperation with Arab universities to develop scientific and cultural fields across all existing specializations. He emphasized the importance of reinforcing the foundations of mutual cooperation in various domains that contribute to the development and advancement of higher education and scientific research. Prof. Hussein Shank added, "We appreciate and value the support of Jordan—its King, government, and people—for their stance towards the Palestinian people. We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the university’s president and its community for their cooperation and efforts in supporting students and providing all necessary preparations and facilities to complete their educational journey under the current circumstances." At the end of the meeting, following the signing, Prof. Hamdan and Prof. Hussein Shank exchanged commemorative shields as a testament to their joint efforts.
