AAU Inks Agreement with Marriott Hotel for Culinary Arts and Hospitality Student Training
Our AAU has signed a cooperation agreement with Marriott Hotel to provide specialized training for students of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The agreement was signed by our University President, Professor Sari Hamdan, and Marriott Hotel General Manager, Mr. Philip Papandriou.
The signing ceremony, attended by Professor Anas Al-Soud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, and Dr. Suzi Hatough, Dean of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, marks a significant step towards enhancing practical training and career readiness for students.
The agreement focuses on strengthening partnerships with the private tourism sector to build students' skills and refine their expertise in culinary arts and hospitality management. It aims to provide advanced training opportunities in a real-world work environment.
Professor Sari Hamdan emphasized the importance of the agreement, highlighting the university's commitment to delivering high-quality education that aligns with labor market needs. He noted that partnering with a prestigious hotel like Marriott offers students valuable international experience and skill development opportunities.
Mr. Philip Papandriou expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, underscoring Marriott Hotel's dedication to supporting educational initiatives that contribute to the growth of the tourism and hospitality sector in Jordan.
