AAU in Cooperation with the Jordan Engineers Association Honor the Jordanian Top Students in the General Secondary Education in Kuwait
AAU in cooperation with the liaison committee of the Jordan Engineers Association- Kuwait branch- honored the top Jordanian students of the General Secondary Education in Kuwait including sons and daughters of Jordanian engineers. Engineer Wael Eid, the representative of the Engineers Association thanked AAU represented by its President, Prof. Sari Hamdan for patronizing this ceremony. He also commended the University's progress, development and achievements as a pioneer private university in the Arab world. Moreover, he congratulated parents for their sons’ and daughters’ excellence stressed that they are the mainstay of the homeland and wished them more success. Engineer Wael Eid and Prof. Sari Hamdan thanked the State of Kuwait represented by His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti government and people for the means of success and comfort they provide to the Jordanian community and the good attention they pay to them as well. They also congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein and the Jordanian people on the 73rd anniversary of the establishment of the Kingdom and the King’s 20th Coronation Anniversary and wished the two countries continued progress, security and safety. The two sides thanked the Jordanian and Kuwaiti figures, at the top of which the former Kuwaiti Ambassador Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij, Dr. Ali Al-Shammari and Mansour Kamal, Secretary General of the Jordanian Community in Kuwait.Prof. Sari Hamdan announced that AAU decided to equate Jordanian students from inside and outside Jordan with respect to university fees. He also stressed the AAU’s interest in the quality of the educational process and the quality of the university education outcomes. Furthermore, He referred to some of AAU’s achievements such as achieving advanced ranks internationally as well as concluding several agreements with the top universities in the world, including American and European universities to upgrade the education level for undergraduate and graduate studies in addition to serving its students through joint cooperation and scientific, academic and student exchanges with those universities. At the end of his speech, Prof. Sari Hamdan thanked the Engineers Association for organizing this ceremony. During the honoring ceremony, competitions were held and gifts were distributed to winners.
