AAU Hosts the Second Day of the Sustainable Future Conference for Business Environment

The Deanship of Scientific Research at our AAU hosted the second day of the "Sustainable Future for Business Environment: Practical Experiences" conference at Nizar Qabbani Auditorium. This collaboration marks the first of its kind between prominent universities in Balqa Governorate, focusing on academic and research benefits, exchange of expertise, community service, regional and international research cooperation. The second day's events, attended by deans, faculty members, and students from both universities, included a speech by Prof. Mosleh Al-Trawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs at AAU, welcoming the attendees. He stated, "Al-Ahliyya Amman University is honored to host the second scientific day of this distinguished conference 'Sustainable Future for Business Environment'. We are pleased to engage in joint academic and research cooperation with a distinguished Jordanian university, Al-Balqa Applied University, in research areas aligned with national priorities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Sustainable development goals aim to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, addressing global and regional challenges including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice." Prof. Zakariah Al-Qudah, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Al-Balqa Applied University, also delivered a speech expressing gratitude for this scientific and research cooperation between the two universities, emphasizing the necessity of providing more opportunities for collaborative scientific activities in the future. To address the conference's themes—challenges facing sustainable marketing, social responsibility in organizations, sustainable systems for business intelligence, digital transformation, and other important sustainability aspects—Mr. Hussam Al-Hurani, Education Director at Orange, presented on the role of artificial intelligence in sustainability and the importance of directing scientific research to meet contemporary needs across all fields. Distinguished researchers from Jordanian universities and several countries presented significant scientific papers related to sustainable development during the conference sessions. Currently, the conference papers are undergoing evaluation through Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies, issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, to be included in a special issue dedicated to the conference.
