AAU Hosts the “Develop Yourself- DYE26” Initiative to Enhance Students’ Readiness for the Labor Market
Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted the activities of the third edition of the national initiative “Develop Yourself-DYE26,” organized by We Different for Marketing and Event Management, in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs / Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office.
The event marked the first stop of the initiative’s 2026 university tour, which includes five Jordanian universities. The initiative aims to empower students and enhance their readiness for the labor market by providing training scholarships, practical workshops, and interactive on-campus activities.
More than 1,000 free training scholarships were allocated to university students in a variety of fields, including technical skills, languages, and self-development, offering students broader opportunities to acquire practical skills and professional experience.
The event was inaugurated by Professor Mustafa Al-tiyyat, Dean of Student Affairs, in the presence of Engineer Osama Al-Rawajih, Director of the Event, and Ms. Zeina Abu Al-Samen, Director of the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Office. They toured the participating companies’ and institutions’ booths and reviewed the training programs offered to students.
Professor Al-Atiyyat emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering students and developing their skills in alignment with national efforts aimed at supporting young people and preparing them for active engagement in the labor market.
The event witnessed wide participation from university students, with the number of attendees exceeding 6,500 students. It also featured active participation from the initiative’s ambassadors, who contributed to organizing the event and enhancing engagement across the university campus.
