AAU Hosts Delegation from University of Anbar, Iraq for Academic Collaboration

Aligned with AAU's commitment to fostering academic partnerships, a delegation from the University of Anbar, Iraq, was warmly welcomed by President Professor Sari Hamdan. Accompanying the delegation were Dr. Subheya Suaifan, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, and Dr. Rasha Al-Tarawneh, Head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology and Genetics. Emphasizing the importance of activating their collaboration agreement, both parties discussed avenues to enhance academic and research cooperation during the visit. The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Anbar presented a shield as a token of appreciation for AAU's efforts in strengthening mutual collaboration. The delegation's focus was on boosting academic and research collaboration between AAU and the University of Anbar, particularly in applied agricultural research and modern agricultural technology. Discussions, including research, workshops, and conferences, took place during the visit to the Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The visit featured a promotional video introducing the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Anbar, attended by faculty, administrative members, and students from AAU's Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The delegation toured faculty facilities, including molecular biology and plant tissue laboratories, and explored the Greenhouse Project. In conclusion, Prof. Adham Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at University of Anbar, presented a shield to AAU's Faculty of Agricultural Technology, recognizing the available resources and modern equipment that enhance the educational and research environment, facilitating knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
