AAU Hosts An Operetta Titled Jerusalem is Arab” Emphasizing the Hashemite Custodianship of the Holy Sites

AAU hosted an operetta titled “Jerusalem is Arab & Al-Dad Language” in the Arena Theater. This event was organized by Al-Salt “Turath” (Hiratege) Channel in cooperation with Al-Salt Greater Municipality, Al-Balqa Culture Directorate, Al-Salt Tourism Directorate and Al-Salt Development Corporation. Khalid Jreisat, the initiative coordinator and the Director of Al-Salt “Turath” Channel, said that the operetta and Al-Dad initiative confirms the identity of Jerusalem as Arab; the capital of Palestine and it is under the Hashemite custodianship. He also said that this initiative is a complement to the candlelight march which took place earlier in Al-Salt city. This event included poems, artistic and national sections in addition to honoring a number of supporters and activists.
