AAU Hosts An Introductory Lecture on the ‘Fulbright Scholarships’
The AAU Department of Public & International Relations hosted the team of the Jordanian-American Commission for Scientific Exchange to introduce students and faculty members to (Fulbright) scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022 as well as the program for developing new faculty members which is supported by the United States of America. This event was attended by the Assistant to the President for Accreditation and International Classification and the Director of the Teaching & Learning Center, Dr. Anas Al-Saud and the Head of the International Relations Department, Dr. Fayrouz Abu Swailem along with faculty members and students.During the lecture, the Team of the Jordanian-American Commission presented a detailed explanation of the “Fulbright” Scholarship Program, which contributes to providing opportunities for graduate students and for faculty members to conduct research in the United States of America. The Commission Team also pointed out how to submit applications, their dates and the conditions that must be met in the applicant for these scholarships. The Team also indicated that the opportunity is available for students who desire to complete their postgraduate studies (masters) within the “Fulbright” Program and that these scholarships are funded by the United States Department of State in more than 160 countries for outstanding students.
