AAU Honors the Top and Outstanding Students in the General Secondary Education in Al-Balqa Governorate and Grants Students whose Scores between 90& 100 A 50% Tuition Deduction
In a positive gesture indicating the role of the private sector in supporting the civil community, AAU and Jaber Al-Atharat Center honored the top students in the General Secondary Education at Al-Balqa Governorate on Wednesday 7/8/2019 at the Arena Cultural Complex. The AAU President Prof. Sari Hamdan and the Director of Jaber Al-Atharat Center, Dr. Ali Abu Rumman honored the top students by granting them valuable gifts presented by the University in addition to having a picture of the top students painted on the stone provided by the Jaber Center. This ceremony was attended by the AAU Deanship of Student Affairs Dr. Mustafa Al Atiyyat, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Maraba'ah, representing the Director of Al-Salt Education and the Principal of Al-Salt Secondary School, Khaled Rahahleh as well as a large number of the top students and their families. In his speech, Prof. Sari Hamdan welcomed the top students and their families in AAU, the first private University in Jordan and the Arab world. He also highlighted the AAU excellence in achieving international accreditations in addition to the accreditation of the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. He also pointed out the University unprecedented achievements that it attained this year. During this event, Prof. Sari Hamdan announced that AAU decided to grant all students whose scores between 90 & 100 a 50% Tuition Deduction. He also pointed out that AAU is always ready to support outstanding students and said that AAU has a future plan to sponsor outstanding students internally or externally to obtain their Master and PhD degrees. The AAU President and the Director of Jaber Al-Atharat Center honored the following top students: 1- Al-Barra Kamal Jihad with a rate of 99.9% 2- Ghazal Al-Atiyyat with a rate of 99.6%3- Nancy Al- Kharabsheh with a rate of 99.5% 4- Leen Al-Hadidi with a rate of 99.5%5- Lian Abu Rumman with a rate of 99.5%6- Heba Al-Hiyasat with a rate of 99.4%7- Amanda Al-Ramamneh with a rate of 99.3%8- Leen Al-Sabe’ with a rate of 99.2%9- Duha Al-Hawamdeh with a rate of 99.2%10- Marah Al-Zu’bi with a rate of 99.1%11- Raha Al-Zu’bi with a rate of 99.1%12- Rashed Al-Marmouri with a rate of 99%Moreover, about 70 students with a rate of 90% and above from Al-Balqa Governorate were honored. At the end of this ceremony, AAU, Jaber Al-Atharat Center and the Directorate of Al-Salt Education exchanged honorary shields.
