AAU Holds A Lecture Titled “Mechanisms for Bridging the Gap between the Academic Sector Outputs & the Labor Market Requirements”

The AAU School of Business hosted Dr. Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, the Chairman of the Int@j Association and the Chief Executive Officer of the Menaitech Company on Tuesday, 27/11/2018 at the School of Business Theater. The School of Business Dean, Dr. Alaa Al-Hourani, and Dr. Anas Al-Saud, the Director of the Business Incubator in the Faculty, welcomed Dr. Al-Hawamdeh. Dr. Bashar then delivered a lecture to the students of the Faculty who enrolled in the Business Administration and E-Commerce Specializations, in the presence of a group of faculty members. He talked about the mechanisms of bridging the gap between the outputs of the academic sector and the requirements of the labor market, the importance of determining the career path and skills development. He also clarified the difference between human resources management and personnel management. At the end of the lecture, the students asked a group of questions and discussion ideas that witnessed a remarkable interaction among them.
