AAU Holds A Distinguished Ceremony for Its Talented Students “Talents of AAU”
Under the auspices of Prof. Sari Hamdan, the AAU President, the University held a ceremony for its talented students “Talents of AAU” on Tuesday 7/1/2020. It is worth mentioning that this event was supported by Mrs. Enas Al-Hourani, the Director of the AAU Public & International Relations Department and was organized by the Department of Artistic Activities and the Deanship of Student Affairs. This ceremony sheds light on students, their abilities and talents via presenting a ceremonial show before a jury. The jury comprised the following distinguished Jordanian Artists: Amal Al-Dabbas, Zuhair Al-Noubani, Dr. Margo Haddad, Dr. Firas Al-Rimoni, Haytham Kawar, Qamar Badwan and Halim Al-Khatib. The participation of the AAU Talented students came in the following order:1- Ibrahim Khalaf – singing2- Ahmad Malkawi & Yusef Sowais- Playing Tarab music3- Mustafa Mal Allah - Magic Games4- Hamza Assaf – Rap5- Zaid Drakarka – singing6- Suha Al-Manasir – singing7- Owais Aldghamin- singing8- Ayman Samreen- singing9- Oday Al-Fawaz – Acting10- Khaled Imad - playing piano11- Ghina El-Hajj- singing12- Majd Hasaniah & Maryam - singing & playing piano13- Rasha Al-Hamad- singing14- Shouf Muhammad- sand drawing15- Moaz Al-Rajabi- Sports MovementsThe first three winners are:The first: Ibrahim Khalaf – singing- won $ 1,000 and a song produced by the Arena.Second: Oday Al-Fawaz – acting- won $ 750.Third: Rasha Al-Hamad – singing- won $ 500.Fourth: Khaled Imad- playing piano- won $ 400.Fifth: Ayman Samreen- singing- won $ 300. Sixth: Majd Hasaniah & Maryam - singing & playing piano- won $300. This ceremony which was held at the Arena Theater was attended by a wonderful audience. This event was concluded with a singing section presented by the artist Qamar Badwan. The celebration ended when the AAU President honored the jury.
