AAU Faculty of Information Technology Introduces the Incubator of (Estarta and Cisco) for Training and Employment

This activity is part of the relentless efforts of the AAU Department of Networks and Information Security/Faculty of Information Technology which pays attention to faculty and students, provides them with opportunities that help them to develop and expand their choices and help them to engage in the available areas of work as well as to strengthen the partnership with the private sector. The Incubator of Estarta and Cisco for Training and Employment is considered one of the oldest and largest companies in the fields of Networks and Information Security. It provides technical support services in this field to major companies in the world such as Cisco, Microsoft and others. The opening of this activity was attended by Engineer Muhammad Al-Jeneini, as a representative of the Cisco Company, an expert team of the Estarta Company, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Qusai Shamboor, the Head of the Department of Networks and Information Security, Dr. Musleh Abu Al-Haj and a number of members of the academic and administrative staffs as well as students of the Faculties of Information Technology and Engineering. The idea of the Incubator is to train the fourth year students and to employ the ones who pass training in the Estarta Company. It is worth mentioning that, the Estarta Company interviewed the students of the fourth year on Thursday 4/1/2018. At the end of the interviews, a meeting was held in the Dean’s office which brought together the Faculty Dean and the Head of the Department of Networks and Information Security with the Estarta Company staff and discussed the students’ standards and the academic content of some of the courses offered in the Department. The Company expressed its admiration for the excellent and high efficiency of the students of the Department of Networks and Information Security. The Company will employ about 65% of the interviewed graduates in the Incubator of Training and Employment Program. It is worth mentioning that, this percentage is very high as stated by the representatives of the Estarta Company.
