AAU Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Awareness Activity for Children at the Arab Medical Center

As part of its community service activities, the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized an educational and recreational activity for child patients at the Arab Medical Center, aiming to promote health awareness and enhance children’s understanding of oral and dental care. The activity aimed to teach children the correct methods of dental care through a simple and interactive approach, while also helping to ease feelings of stress and fear within the hospital environment by offering educational and recreational activities suitable for their age groups. The event also sought to strengthen the humanitarian and social values of Faculty of Dentistry students and reinforce the concept of prevention as an essential component of maintaining oral and dental health through their participation in meaningful community initiatives. The activity included an educational session on the importance of dental hygiene and oral care, in addition to a puppet show that addressed dental health in an engaging and interactive manner that attracted the children’s attention. Symbolic gifts related to oral and dental care were also distributed to the participating children.
