AAU Concludes the "Ramadan" Expatriate Futsal Championship

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Al-Ahliyya Amman University concluded the "Ramadan" Expatriate Futsal Championship, organized by the Sports Activities and Student Clubs Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs. The tournament took place on the university’s futsal courts and featured over 60 students representing five teams: Egypt 1, Egypt 2, Iraq, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia. The title was claimed by Team Egypt 1, who emerged victorious in the final match against Team Palestine. The game ended in a 2-2 draw during regular time, leading to a penalty shootout, which concluded with a 2-1 win for Egypt 1. Team Palestine secured second place, while Team Egypt 2 finished in third. At the closing ceremony, the Dean of Student Affairs and patron of the tournament, Professor Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, crowned the winning teams. The event was attended by the Vice Dean, Dr. Nour Al-Dabbas, Assistant Dean Mr. Essam Al-Sahhar, several administrative staff members, and a large number of students. This championship aimed to strengthen cultural and social ties among students from various nationalities studying at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
