AAU Concludes A Joint Cooperation Agreement with Ajman University

Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university in Jordan, signed a joint cooperation agreement with Ajman University, the first private university in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement included many provisions that aimed at academic research cooperation through forming research teams specialized in a group of vital fields in order to produce joint scientific research which generates a global scientific impact.The agreement also aims to open the door for the exchange of experiences and visits between faculty members and the exchange of students for a period of one semester to give them the opportunity to be familiar with the educational and cultural diversity. During the signing ceremony, talks were exchanged about the history of the two universities, the path of development for each one of them and the most important strategic goals that they are striving to achieve. In this area, the e-learning experience of Al-Ahliyya Amman University was presented along with the most important current projects which aimed at developing the electronic scientific content offered to students in the near future. Also, the possibility of cooperation with Ajman University in this important field was discussed.It is worth mentioning that this agreement which was signed by the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan and the President of Ajman University, Prof. Karim Al-Sagheer, was signed at the Presidency of Ajman University. The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice President of Ajman University for Academic Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh, the Dean of the Faulty of Science at Ajman University, Prof. Shaher Al-Momani, and the AAU Assistant President Dr. Anas Al-Saud. At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged the memorial shields for the two universities and Prof. Sari Hamdan and the accompanying delegation were accompanied on a round which acquainted them with the facilities of Ajman University.
