AAU Commences Its Marathon for Employing Its Graduates

Under the patronage of the AAU President Prof. Sari Hamdan, the Migrate Mena Company signed work contracts for a group of the University graduates with jobs within their scientific specializations. The signing ceremony which took place on Monday, 12/10/2020 at Al-Ahliyya Amman University was attended by the Director of AAU Public & International Relations, Mrs. Enas Al-Hourani. Prof. Hamdan welcomed the General Manager of the Company, Mr. Hasan Yazjin and the accompanying delegation, and affirmed the University’s keenness to graduate qualified cadres capable of competing and achieving excellence in the local and regional markets. The President also confirmed that he will not hesitate to provide support for the partnerships and projects of the AAU Center for Innovation & Excellence, which will contribute to achieving the vision and mission of the University in the coming years.On his turn, Mr. Hasan Yazjin, the Executive Partner at the Migrate Company, said that the Company considers this step as the beginning of a genuine strategic partnership with the University, followed by a group of executive steps that fulfills the interests of the two institutions. On his part, the Director of the Center for Innovation and Excellence, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, affirmed that the University partnership with the Migrate Company started nearly two years ago through the business incubator and aims to apply for a group of local and regional projects in particular. Today, this partnership is crowned by employing the AAU distinguished graduates in this global Company, which will continue through appointing the top ten graduates at the end of each academic year. Dr. Al-Saud explained that the University established the Center for Innovation and Excellence, which includes the Business Incubator, the Technology Transferring Office and the Innovative Models Workshop, in addition to the Commercial Liaison Office, whose task is to ensure real job opportunities for University graduates in companies connected with the AAU Innovation and Excellence Center regarding investment and commerce.The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. George Samour, the Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Omar Abdel Jaber, the Director of the Business Incubator and Dr. Hussam Yassin, the Director of the Commercial Liaison Office.
