A Welcoming Reception for New Students at AAU

Celebrating the beginning of the new academic year, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU), under the patronage of the president of the University Professor Sadeq Hamed, has organized a welcoming reception for the new students. After the national anthem, Professor Hamed congratulated the students for passing their secondary school exams and getting accepted at AAU, the first private university named after the capital of Jordan. The President also encouraged the students to exert efforts and excel, since they will distinctly represent their University, stressing that the University is keen on providing all the facilities needed to help them in their learning process. He also emphasized the role of the University in upbringing a unique and responsible generation. Dr. Mohammad Moubaideen, dean of Student Affairs, briefed the students on the role of the Deanship in refining their personalities, developing their skills, and enhancing their academic and extracurricular role. The reception, which was attended by the deans of faculties and the new students, won everyone’s admiration and included different artistic and cultural shows. At the end of the reception, the President handed prizes to the winners and participants.
