A Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Noor Al-Hussein Foundation

Al-Ahliyya Amman University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Family Health Care/ Noor Al-Hussein Foundation. The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation and deployment of knowledge specialized in training and continuous education. It also aims to provide a role model for cooperation among the governmental institutions, the private sector and the institutions of civil society. The president of the University, Prof. Sadeq Hamed and Mrs. Hana Shahin, the executive director of King Hussein Foundation, signed the memorandum which includes preparing studies and research and holding conferences, symposia and joint scientific meetings. Furthermore, it gives the institute priority for scholarships specialized in areas relevant to the University interest and cooperate in training their cadres in various fields.It is worth mentioning that Noor Al-Hussein Foundation is a humanitarian organization which was established in 1986 in cooperation with the Swedish Child Care Foundation “Rada Barnen”. The Foundation is distinguished in providing specialized health, guidance and rehabilitation services along with an effective and exemplary training. It provides all family members with the primary health care specialized in health, psychological, social and legal aspects as well as early detection of children disabilities.
