A Lecture Titled “Paper and Electronic Libraries in the AAU”

The library committee in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences held a lecture under the title “Paper and Electronic Libraries in the AAU”. Dr. Ribhe Olayan, the Professor of Library Science in the University of Jordan, spoke about the concept of libraries and their functions and elaborated on the traditional and non-traditional library types, their advantages and drawbacks. The lecture was attended by the Dean of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Basmah Al-Shreef, the Director of the AAU library, Mrs. Rana Qasem and members of the library committee. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Hafeza Mahmud, the Head of library committee moderated the lecture between the speaker and the audience.
