A joyful festive carnival for the graduation of the thirtieth batch of Al-Ahliyya Amman students

The Arena Theater, distinguished by its spacious hall and modern technical equipment, witnessed yesterday evening, Saturday 11 March 2023, a joyful festive carnival for the graduation of the thirtieth batch of students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University for the first semester 2022-2023, where feelings of joy flooded the graduates, their families and the invitees, as well as the teaching and administrative staff at the university. Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the University, sponsored the graduation ceremony in the presence of several members of the Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Omar Al-Hourani, members of the staff, deans, members of the teaching and administrative staff, and invitees. The ceremony began with the national royal anthem, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran by the student Adam Al-Hadidi, "Faculty of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts". The ceremony was presented by the graduate student Rosa Mahmoud Helweh "Faculty of Supportive Medical Sciences" and the graduate student Fadel Al-Dulaimi "Faculty of Information Technology". Dr. Mustafa Attiyat, Dean of Student Affairs, delivered the university's speech at the ceremony, in which he welcomed the attendees and said: I am pleased to warmly welcome you on this day in which Al-Ahliyya Amman University celebrates the graduation of a new group of its students, which represents a bright image of the university (professors, administrators, workers and students), where Al-Ahliyya Amman University was the first private university in Jordan. Since its establishment more than thirty-three years ago by the late founder Dr. Ahmed Al-Hourani, the university has taken upon itself to be a beacon of science and a center of civilization that all Jordanians are proud of, and so this university has been and will remain the university of the homeland and a home of various horizons in the spaces of science and knowledge. He added: Al-Ahliyya Amman University has been committed to maintaining the traditions of excellence and creativity, and to raise the level of educational achievement and the quality of teaching and administrative staff, and has developed plans to develop institutional performance, education, promote scientific research and interact with the the local community in a way that enhances the vision adopted by the university to become a global smart university with a sustainable knowledge environment that supports innovation. He then addressed the graduates and congratulated them: I congratulate you on my behalf and on behalf of the members of the teaching and administrative staff, and I congratulate your families, loved ones and friends. Here you are today reaping the fruits of years of hard work on the seats of study, so congratulations to you for what you have accomplished, and I would also give my thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the parents who have made precious efforts for you to reach this day. He concluded his speech by saying: May God help us all to serve our university and serve our dear Jordan under His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and his faithful Crown Prince. Student Mohammed Al-Salameen (graduate of the Faculty of Law) also delivered a speech in which he said: Today we have achieved the ultimate goal for which we have sought for years and we have become male and female graduates, holders of knowledge, armed with our morals, and are ready to engage in the labor market of, ready, and to serve our country and to support our religion. He then congratulated his fellow graduates and their families, stressing that the road ahead of them is long to gain more knowledge, stressing on loyalty to the homeland. Prof. Dr. Musleh Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs / Dean of the Faculty of Law then highlighted the great achievements made by the Faculty of Law, praising the achievement of a group of faculty students by obtaining third place in the Arab moot trials competition in Kuwait, where they achieved this accomplishment in the name of Jordan and in the name of the university in a competition that included 26 universities from 14 Arab countries. He mentioned the names of the participating students: Amin Jamal Al-Omari, Malak Muhammad Obeidat, Muhammad Bilal Al-Salameen, and Rana Yousef Abu Rumman who were honored along with their supervisor, Dr. Saddam Al-Awaisha, by Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, the University President, Mr. Omar Al-Hourani, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Prof. Dr. Musleh Al-Tarawneh. In conclusion, the sponsor of the ceremony handed over certificates to the graduates for the bachelor's and master's degrees and honored the honorary students in all majors.
