A Distinguished Cultural Exchange Between Chinese and Arabic Language Students at AAU
As part of strengthening cultural exchange and linguistic communication, the Department of Languages - Chinese Section at Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted two students from the People's Republic of China who are studying Arabic. The visit was aimed at organizing a special interactive meeting between the Chinese students and the University’s Chinese department students, under the supervision of Dr. Nasri Abu Khudeir.
The meeting opened the door for students from both sides to discuss the importance of learning a second language, the challenges that learners may face, and practical solutions to help them overcome these difficulties. The gathering also addressed aspects of Chinese culture and traditions, adding a rich and insightful cultural dimension to the conversation.
The meeting demonstrated a high level of linguistic skills among the students. Al-Ahliyya Amman University students engaged in conversation with their Chinese guests in Chinese, while the Chinese students responded in Arabic, reflecting their progress in language learning and emphasizing the significance of interactive meetings in strengthening education and boosting confidence.
