A delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University

A delegation representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq visited Al-Ahliyya Amman University where Prof. Dr. Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for External Relations and Quality Affairs, received the delegation, which was headed by Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Faculties, Dr. Yousra Muhammad Abdullah, Director of the Accreditation Department, and Dr. Yousra Abdul Rahman Mahmoud, President of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Faculties. Furthermore, the delegation was accompanied on its visit by Prof. Dr. Wassim Al-Tamimi, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the State of Iraq in Jordan, and Mrs. Amal Awad Al-Tarawneh, Director of the Quality Assurance and Classification in the Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. The meeting began with a detailed presentation about the university since its establishment as the first private university in Jordan, including its mission, vision, faculties, centers, programs and future plans. The delegation then toured the various facilities of the university, including the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Supportive Medical Sciences, the Department of Cosmetology, and the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The head of the delegation, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, and the accompanying delegation expressed their admiration for the high level reached by Al-Ahliyya Amman University, which includes the largest community of Iraqi students in Jordan, and Al-Fatlawi explained that what distinguishes Al-Ahliyya Amman University is its keeping pace with the requirements of the times and the needs of the market, and the best evidence of this is the qualitative professional majors offered by the university that rely on joint practical training with the industrial sector corresponding to each specialization. The University held a dinner party to honor Jordan's senior guests, which was attended by the Acting Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan, Acting Minister Munif Ali Hussein, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Musleh Al-Tarawneh, and members of the delegation.
