A delegation from Sharjah International Book Fair visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Dr. Sadeq Hamid, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received a delegation from Sharjah International Book Fair which included Messrs. Fadel Bossaim and Salem Omar Salem. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Sadeq Hamed welcomed the guest delegation and thanked them for this valuable initiative. On the sidelines of the meeting, the delegation invited Al-Ahliyya Amman University to participate in Sharjah International Book Fair, which is one of the largest international exhibitions in the Middle East in terms of the books displayed which are estimated at about 200 thousand titles of various countries around the world in various disciplines and fields. The exhibition will be held in the period from 7-17/11/2012. The delegation noted that the number of participants in the exhibition is estimated at about 900 Arab and foreign publishers from 45 countries. The exhibition will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The delegation visit aims to encourage Jordanian universities to participate in the exhibition, to review the books displayed and to have access to the latest publications in various fields. At the end of the meeting, the delegation expressed thanks to the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and those in charge of its administration. The delegation members expressed their admiration for the University progress and modern technologies available for its students.
