A delegation from Al-Ahliyya Amman University visits Nazek Hariri Center
In pursuit of Al-Ahliyya Amman University concern with people with special needs and rehabilitating them to become active and productive individuals in their community, a delegation headed by Prof. Basma Al-Sharif, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Joseph Bawalsah, Prof. of Psychology and Special Education Department, and Ms. Enas Hourani, Director of the Public and International Relations Department, visited Nazek Hariri Center. During the visit, the delegation visited the center sections, including vocational rehabilitation section, support medical services section, and speech and physical and psychiatry therapy clinics. The Center also provides training opportunities for special education students and equips them with the skills and experiences that help them enter the labor market efficiently and competently. Ms. Hourani praised the Center efforts and the services provided to people with special needs.The University has received a delegation from Nazek Hariri Center, during which they were briefed about the University facilities, particularly the Hearing and Speech Section, and the free treatment services provided to children who suffer from hearing and pronunciation problems.
