The AAU Organizes the Annual Festival of the Iraqi Poetry

Under the patronage of the AAU President, Prof Sadeq Hamed and Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, the University organized the Annual Festival of the Iraqi Poetry on Thursday, 21/12/2017 at 1:00 pm in the Arena Theater. The festival embraced a group of students’ talents within the literary and artistic fields. Students delivered a series of poems that glorified loving the homeland and mothers. Prominent poets participated in this festival which also included a photo exhibition, an Iraqi folklore fashion show and listening to the Iraqi folk and national songs.
