Supporting graduation projects for 2013-2012 by King Abdullah II Fund for Development

King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), in collaboration with Applied Research Division, and King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB), announce that it will begin receiving applications for the year 2012/2013 for supporting graduation projects of applied nature in all science and technology areas, with a ceiling of JD 5000 for each project. King Abdullah II Fund for Development and King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau seek through providing this support for our young and promising talents to tap into new fields of science and technology to achieve the visions of His Majesty the King, and to develop and promote Jordan through young potentials who are suited for leadership roles in the future. We wish to inform you that the graduation projects support program for this year is based on five main themes, namely: • Free projects, which are projects determined by professors in agreement with their students. • Projects proposed by King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau. • Jordan Oil Shale Company for supporting graduation projects of the University students in the fields of energy/water/environment. • Scientific research priorities in Jordan, which can be found on the following website (www.srf.gov.jo). • Proposals for funding university students’ graduation projects program initiated by King Abdullah II Fund for Development to guide and develop scientific research in the universities. Receiving project applications will commence on 15/9/2012 until 15/12/2012 at career qualification offices, King Abdullah II Fund for Development. Students can coordinate with the offices concerning any matters relating to the university students’ graduation projects funding program. Applications may be also submitted to the University of Jordan, King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau. • Applications will be considered and ppt presentations will be requested for all projects submitted. • Projects to be supported will be selected based on the clarity and accuracy of the application submitted in addition to its originality, creativity, practical benefit and competitiveness.
