In view of the fact that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is witnessing major development in all fields, especially in health and education, the Faculty was established in 1990 in order to partake in developing the health care services for the citizens. The Faculty is an integral part of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university in Jordan.

1. Produce highly qualified pharmacy graduates capable of delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
2. Cultivate professional, ethical, leadership, communication, and lifelong learning competencies among students.
3. Ensure continuous quality improvement of the curriculum in accordance with national and international accreditation standards and advances in pharmacy practice.
4. Advance research excellence, innovation, and evidence-based practice among students and faculty.
5. Encourage and facilitate progression to postgraduate education, professional specialization, and continuous professional development.
6. Enhance faculty excellence in teaching, research, scholarly productivity, and community service.
7. Strengthen the program’s contribution to society through community engagement, health promotion, and strategic partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.
