A1127401 Aural Rchabilitation 3 This course presents a general definition of the effect of hearing loss with different severity levels on patients (children and adults) receptive and expressive communicative abilities, defines the relationship between speech-language pathologists and audiologists and the collaboration between them, and presents the communication strategies needed for people with hearing loss in order to improve their communication abilities (oral, manual, and visual components).

The course will concentrate on research questions that deal with speech, language, swallowing, and other topics in relation to communication sciences and disorders.
