Session 3 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
15 DecisionsThe Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Nursing / Critical Care and Infection Control in the Faculty of Nursing.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Digital Media and Content Creation in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Technical Bachelor's program in Jewelry Design and Marketing in the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Sports Technology in the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Technical Engineering in Artificial Intelligence in the Faculty of Engineering.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Nursing Science / Nursing Management and Leadership Track in the Faculty of Nursing.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Sports Management and Olympic Studies in the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Digital Visual Communication in the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
Pursuant to the Higher Education Council decision approving the renaming of the specializations of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Board of Trustees approved suspending admission to the following specializations, effective from the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year:
- Architectural Engineering
- Interior Design
- Multimedia and Graphic Design
With reference to Board of Trustees Decision No. (4/3/2023-2024) dated 28 December 2023, which suspended admission to Higher Diploma programs from the 2024/2025 academic year, the Board approved reactivating admission to the Higher Diploma program in Teacher Preparation from the beginning of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a joint national PhD program in Civil Engineering with the University of Jordan, with two tracks:
- Sustainable Water and Environmental Engineering Systems — academically hosted at the University of Jordan.
- Smart Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering — academically hosted at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Cosmetology in the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Food Manufacturing Technology in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
The Board of Trustees approved hosting a PhD program in Clinical Psychology in collaboration with the University of Reading, United Kingdom, in the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences.
The Board of Trustees approved hosting a PhD program in Business Administration in collaboration with the University of Reading, United Kingdom, in the Faculty of Business, with the following tracks:
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Marketing
- Accounting
Session 4 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Ali Ahmad Salim Al-Tarawneh as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business, effective 23 February 2026.
Session 5 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board of Trustees assigned Prof. Dr. Moath Fawzi Shbeita as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business until the end of the 2025/2026 academic year, effective 26 March 2026.
Session 6 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board of Trustees approved the University's estimated budget for 2026.
The Board of Trustees approved the University's closing accounts for 2025.
Session 7 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board of Trustees approved suspending admission to the Master's Program in Government Administration, effective from the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Board approved renaming the Master's Program in Criminal Law as the “Master's Program in Cyber Criminal Law and Artificial Intelligence.”
The Board approved merging the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Basic Sciences into the Department of Supporting Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
The Board approved establishing the Department of Basic Dental Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry.
Session 8 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board approved establishing the Department of Clinical Dental Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry.
Session 9 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
Pursuant to Article (11/d) and Article (12/c) of the Jordanian Universities Law No. (18) of 2018, the Board assigned Prof. Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Hamdan Ghnaimeh to carry out the duties of University President, effective 1 July 2026, until a permanent President is appointed.
Session 10 — 2025/2026 Academic Year
The Board approved establishing the Department of Basic Humanities and Scientific Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, with two divisions: Basic Sciences for Humanities Specializations and Basic Sciences for Scientific Specializations.
