Introduction:

Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) is committed to enhancing employability, professional readiness, and practical skills development by ensuring that students complete high-quality work placements lasting more than one month.
Supported by the Student Work Placement and Development Policy and the Student Work Placement Provision Procedure, AAU provides structured, supervised, and competency-based training opportunities across various industries and sectors.

These placements enable students to:

  • gain real-world experience,
  • develop professional and technical competencies,
  • strengthen labour-market readiness,
  • build industry connections and career pathways,
  • engage with innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.

AAU tracks the number and proportion of students who complete work placements lasting more than one month across all faculties.
This indicator supports:
