Introduction:
Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) is deeply committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of its students through an integrated system of counselling, awareness, and academic support. The Center for Psychological Care provides confidential counselling and preventive programs, helping students manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges. Complementing these services, the Clinical Psychology Department and the Diploma in Qualifying Psychological Specialists program enhance students’ understanding of mental health and prepare professionals to deliver quality psychological care. Together, these initiatives reflect AAU’s dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment, fully aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

3. AAU Mental Health Forum – Training Workshop on Patient and Family Communication Skills
The Center for Psychological Care at Amman Arab University organized the second event of the Mental Health Forum, a training workshop titled “Skills for Extracting Information from Patients and Their Families.” The workshop, led by psychiatrist Dr. Ashraf Al-Salehi, aimed to enhance communication and diagnostic skills among psychology students and professionals. This initiative is part of AAU’s ongoing efforts to promote mental health awareness and professional development, reflecting its commitment to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

4. AAU Launches the Ministry-Accredited Professional Diploma in Psychological Qualification
The Center for Psychological Care (CCPS) at Amman Arab University launched a Ministry-accredited Professional Diploma in Psychological Qualification. The program equips students and graduates of psychology departments with advanced knowledge and practical skills in counselling, psychological diagnosis, and therapy. Supervised by a team of academics and specialists, it provides intensive field training in accredited institutions. This initiative strengthens AAU’s role in promoting mental health education and preparing qualified psychologists, directly supporting SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
