Public reporting on university progress and performance related to SDG3 (Good Health and Well-being).

Introduction:

Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) maintains a strong institutional commitment to transparency and evidence-based reporting on SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being. Through the Sustainability & International Ranking Center (SIRC), the Faculty of Nursing, the Women’s Health Center, and the Center for Psychological Care, AAU systematically documents and publicly shares verified information on health education, medical training, preventive-care initiatives, mental-health services, and community wellness programs.

Across the 2023–2025 reporting period, AAU published detailed, publicly accessible evidence through its Sustainability Reports and Executive Sustainability Summaries, highlighting programs that:

  • provide public-health outreach through community events and mobile clinical activities,
  • enhance student and staff well-being through comprehensive medical and psychological services,
  • advance health-related research, screenings, and professional development,
  • strengthen national partnerships that promote preventive care, maternal health, and mental-health literacy.

These publicly available reports ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with SDG 3 targets, including SDG 3.4 (Non-communicable diseases), SDG 3.7 (Reproductive health), and SDG 3.5 (Mental health and substance-abuse prevention).
