Welcome to the Language Center based in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. We are delighted to be an integral part of our students' journey towards acquiring their academic degrees in various specialties and improving their skills in both Arabic and English. At the Language Center, we offer non-credit hour remedial courses, covering language skills in both Arabic and English. These courses aim to prepare students for passing Arabic Communication Skills (1) and English Communication Skills (1), each of which is a three-hour credit course in the study plans of all students- regardless of their specializations. Our experienced team at the Center provides carefully designed courses to meet the needs of students and local community members, enhancing their conversation, writing, reading, listening, and technical writing skills in English. We also offer courses in Arabic for non-native speakers. We strive to create a stimulating environment and a valuable learning experience through state-of-the-art facilities, labs, multimedia learning resources, and interactive educational equipment to ensure an enjoyable and effective learning experience. In the era of globalization, learning different languages has become a cultural and scientific necessity. Therefore, the Language Center offers courses in various languages such as Chinese, Spanish, German, and sign language. We aim to create a cultural environment that promotes ethnic diversity and mutual cultural understanding. Our teachers are experienced in teaching various languages and work to guide students throughout the learning process at different levels. We encourage students to make the best use of the available resources at the Language Center, to participate in language exchange programs and to engage in various cultural activities that will enrich their language learning experience, as well as enable their personal and academic growth.
