BOWLING

Bowling had its beginnings in ancient Egypt when the Pharaohs introduced it. This is shown on wall painting discovered in the Bani Hassan Temples in Menia Governorate, built more than 6000 years ago. The first appearance for this game in the modern era was in England during the eleventh century. The first bowling union was formed in America in the year 1895. Since then the sport has progressed significantly with the development of its laws in the early twentieth century. After the Second World War bowling spread widely in Western Europe. Although players of various ages play the game for fun in a special closed hall, it is hard to reach the professional level. This game requires massive nerve and muscular coordination. Moreover, it requires excellent coordination between the visual and overall body skills.
