Quality Department Responsibilities:
  • Participating in the preparation, review, and updating of the university's strategic plan in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing annual work plans for colleges, deanships, departments, centers, and offices in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing performance indicator matrices for the annual work plans of colleges, deanships, departments, centers, and offices.
  • Monitoring and reviewing annual reports for colleges, deanships, departments, centers, and offices, and preparing the university-wide annual report.
  • Preparing and evaluating the risk management plan, developing response procedures, and monitoring their implementation.
  • Introducing and adopting quality concepts, developing institutional performance, and promoting a culture of excellence within the university in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing policies, procedures, and forms, and continuously reviewing and improving them in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating organizational structures periodically, and as needed, in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and updating regulations and instructions to keep pace with developments and advancements in coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Preparing, reviewing, and updating job descriptions and tasks periodically and as needed, in coordination and cooperation with relevant parties.
  • Documenting and archiving quality documents, monitoring their dissemination, implementation, review, and updating.
  • Preparing a unified file list at the university level and distributing it to organizational units.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and any other standards adopted by the university.
  • Preparing and implementing an internal audit plan for the application of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and any other standards applied by the university.
  • Monitoring the implementation of "Quality Assurance Standards in Higher Education Institutions" at the university level and preparing a self-assessment study in coordination and cooperation with relevant parties.
  • Developing a quality objectives matrix.
  • Reviewing and updating the quality manual as needed.
  • Preparing for external audit visits and facilitating their work.
  • Continuously improving quality management systems and the standards applied by the university.
  • Following up on document review requests and reviewing and updating the documented information in coordination and cooperation with relevant parties.
