Center Brief

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at Al-Ahliyya Amman University is an institutional unit responsible for developing and overseeing the University’s systems for strategic planning, quality, accreditation, measurement, and evaluation. Through these efforts, the Center supports the achievement of the University’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives, while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement. The Center oversees the preparation and implementation of the University’s strategic plan, action plans, and institutional performance indicators, and supports risk management and institutional development. It also oversees the implementation of quality assurance systems and standards, as well as auditing, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes. In addition, the Center follows up on general and specific accreditation requirements, local and international academic accreditations, the establishment and development of academic programs and study plans, enrollment capacities, and the placement of qualifications and academic programs within the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework. The Center also works to develop the measurement and evaluation system through the design of measurement tools and surveys, the collection and analysis of institutional data, the preparation of studies and statistical reports, and the analysis of performance indicators. It also utilizes digital tools and advanced analytics to provide reliable information that supports planning, quality, and evidence-based decision-making. The Center comprises four specialized and integrated departments: the Strategic Planning and Institutional Development Department, the Quality Assurance Department, the Accreditation and Academic Programs Department, and the Measurement and Evaluation Department. These departments work within an integrated system to enhance institutional performance efficiency and sustain quality and excellence across the University.
