Introduction: 

Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) consistently demonstrates its dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Through the publication of its annual Sustainability Reports, the university presents a transparent and detailed account of its educational initiatives, policies, and community engagement activities that aim to enhance learning opportunities, promote inclusiveness, and ensure lifelong learning for all. The reports highlight AAU’s continuous efforts to integrate sustainability principles across academic curricula, research, and institutional governance. They document the university’s progress in providing equitable access to quality education, capacity building for educators, technological integration in teaching, and partnerships for sustainable development. The reports also reflect the university’s leadership in advancing sustainable education practices in Jordan and the region by fostering collaboration between academia, government, and civil society.

Report Name: Quality Education Report– 2024-2025 

Executive Summary: 

The Quality Education Report 2024–2025 outlines Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s strategic achievements in advancing inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education aligned with SDG 4. During this period, AAU expanded its academic portfolio to include new interdisciplinary programs that integrate sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation, ensuring students acquire both theoretical and practical competencies for the modern labor market. Significant emphasis was placed on improving teaching methodologies through digital learning tools, virtual labs, and research-based pedagogical practices. The university also launched capacity-building workshops for faculty members to enhance teaching effectiveness and sustainability literacy, reinforcing the integration of SDG concepts across all disciplines. 
AAU demonstrated strong social responsibility by offering free access to educational resources and hosting a wide range of community outreach programs—including public lectures, open learning days, and skill development sessions—targeting underprivileged groups and lifelong learners. Throughout this academic year, AAU enhanced its curriculum by embedding sustainability and ethical responsibility across all academic programs, preparing students to become innovative problem-solvers and responsible leaders. Key milestones included the development of a digital learning ecosystem that integrates e-learning platforms, smart classrooms, and accessible online resources to promote flexible and equitable education. The university also intensified its investment in research and faculty development programs to ensure teaching excellence and the adoption of modern, evidence-based instructional approaches.
