Introduction:
Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) publishes an Annual Sustainability Report that documents the university’s comprehensive performance in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This report transparently presents quantitative and qualitative results across energy, water, waste, research, education, social inclusion, and governance indicators, ensuring public accountability and continuous improvement.
The report follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards 2021) and integrates UN SDG 12 targets (12.2–12.8) with the Jordan National Green Economy Strategy.
Each year, the Sustainability and International Ranking Center (SIRC) collects, verifies, and publishes data from all academic and administrative units, transforming AAU’s sustainability journey into measurable outcomes accessible to all stakeholders.

Institutional Integration Summary
The publication of the AAU Sustainability Report is coordinated by the Sustainability and International Ranking Center (SIRC) in collaboration with all academic faculties and administrative departments.
Each unit submits verified data every quarter, which is reviewed by SIRC, audited by the University Presidency, and published digitally via the AAU Sustainability Portal.
This system ensures transparency, accountability, and alignment with global reporting standards.
By publicly disclosing its SDG performance and sustainability progress, AAU advances not only SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) but also SDG 16 (Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
