Health Outreach (3.3.2)
Introduction:
Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) conducts continuous health outreach and volunteering programs that promote hygiene, nutrition, family planning, sports, and healthy aging. These initiatives, led by the Faculties of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Medical Sciences, are carried out in collaboration with national ministries, hospitals, and community organizations. Through medical days, awareness campaigns, fitness events, and student volunteering, AAU raises health awareness and provides free preventive and educational services to local communities. All programs align with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being and reinforce the university’s social responsibility toward improving public health and quality of life while also supporting SDG 4, SDG 10, and SDG 17 through education, inclusion, and partnerships.
