2026 Budget & 2025 Closing Accounts
At Session 6, held on 21 April 2026, the Board of Trustees formally approved the University's estimated budget for 2026 and the University's closing accounts for 2025, in accordance with the University's internal financial governance framework and applicable national regulations.

The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Bachelor's program in Digital Media and Content Creation in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Digital Visual Communication in the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
Academic Programs Decision No. (9/3/2025-2026)
Pursuant to the Higher Education Council decision approving the renaming of the specializations of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Board of Trustees approved suspending admission to the following specializations in the Faculty of Architecture and Design, effective from the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year: (1) Architectural Engineering; (2) Interior Design; (3) Multimedia and Graphic Design.
Academic Programs Decision No. (10/3/2025-2026)
With reference to Board of Trustees Decision No. (4/3/2023-2024) dated 28 December 2023, which suspended admission to Higher Diploma programs from the 2024/2025 academic year, the Board of Trustees approved reactivating admission to the Higher Diploma program in Teacher Preparation from the beginning of the 2026/2027 academic year.
Partnerships Decision No. (11/3/2025-2026)
The Board of Trustees approved establishing a joint national PhD program in Civil Engineering with the University of Jordan, with two tracks: Sustainable Water and Environmental Engineering Systems (academically hosted at the University of Jordan), and Smart Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering (academically hosted at Al-Ahliyya Amman University).

The Board of Trustees approved establishing a Master's program in Cosmetology in the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences.

The Board of Trustees approved renaming the Master's Program in Criminal Law as the "Master's Program in Cyber Criminal Law and Artificial Intelligence."
