A leading transdisciplinary applied-focused hub in sustainable development, delivering powerful societal impact in Jordan.
Our Mission
To create a pivotal hub in sustainable capacity and infrastructure, fostering collaboration among industry, business, government, society, and research entities, while steering construction toward smart, sustainable, and resilience-oriented futures.
Goals and Objectives
The AAU Sustainability Development Office aims to be a transdisciplinary hub for developing strategies, providing consultations, offering awareness, supporting basic and applied research, and managing projects in sustainable and green built environments for the AAU community and local society. Community Awareness
Participate in community awareness toward sustainability.

Training Opportunities
Provide a range of training opportunities to uplift skills.

Consultancy Support
Provide consultancy in the area of sustainability and the green built environment.

Knowledge Sharing and Mobility
Contribute to social mobility by conducting seminars that share knowledge and enable networking between industry, government, and research organizations.

Research Capacity
Increase AAU capacity for research and help build an ambitious, supportive, and inclusive environment in which researchers can excel.

Collaborate with national and international communities.
