Center Brief

The Global Engagement Center (GEC) at Al-Ahliyya Amman University is dedicated to promoting internationalization, academic cooperation, and cross-cultural engagement across all areas of the university. The center acts as the central hub for managing and developing the university’s international relations, partnerships, exchange programs, and globally funded projects. GEC works to expand the university’s international presence by establishing strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, international organizations, and industry partners worldwide. Through these collaborations, the center facilitates student and staff mobility, joint research initiatives, academic exchange opportunities, and participation in international projects and programs. The center is also committed to enhancing students’ global competencies by providing opportunities for international exposure, intercultural learning, and participation in exchange and mobility programs. These experiences help students develop leadership, communication, and professional skills that prepare them to thrive in diverse global environments. In addition, the Global Engagement Center supports the management and implementation of externally funded projects that contribute to innovation, curriculum development, capacity building, employability, and sustainable development goals. Through its departments and initiatives, GEC continues to strengthen Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s position as a globally connected institution that values collaboration, diversity, academic excellence, and international impact.
